IT"S MY LIFE

Well our house has been so very hectic as of late!! Mama and dad are in and out all the time doing stuff for the "adoption" (whatever that is) And we have a new fostser dog on top of it all!! She's OK, needs manners. Mama says I am helping to "train her up".

Celebrated my 8th birthday yesterday, I am officially middle aged now!! Wonder if that'll be a good excuse for being a grumpy bug?? I always used to get steak for my b-day, but with my allergies, I did not get it this year, but I got a big bowl of fresh veggies (which I love) and got to sleep on moms lap all night!! (which doesn't happen often as I am 91 lbs) So that was too cool!!

BOY TRAINING THE NEW DOG IS TIRING!!

So my sister has been home a week, why didn't anyone tell me little sisters would be such a pain! Well don't get me wrong, I love her, I just wish she would understand that I'm WAY OLDER. I don't wanna get up at 6 am. And I don't wanna play at midnight!! PUPS!!!!!

Ok now that my complaining is done. Other than her puppy exuberance, I love her. When I want to, we run and play together. I had a little issue about mommies time when she first got home, but I think we have worked out the pecking order in that house, and now that she knows her place, we get along just fine.

Just thought I'd let ya know how everything is going, time for me to go nap.


YAWN!!!!

My first entry

Hello,

Since this is my new diary, I guess I'll have to give the background for my first entry. My name is Poitash (which means "My Friend" in Hungarian). My mommy adopted me a little over 7 years ago when I was only 10 weeks old. I am now coming on 8 Years. I have had the wonderful luck to be in constant contact with Kiara (my litter mate) as my "Uncle Randy" adopted her at the same time as mama got me. We still get to see each other often (even though mama moved away from where Kiara lives) It looks like she will come to see me this weekend and that is gonna be great!!

I have lived through my mama getting divorced and had to be her comfort through it all, someone said once that "the ex" said he would sue for custody of me but mama nipped that one in the bud, she said NO-ONE was going to separate us cuz we are too good of a team. But life is grande now and both mama and I have the wonderful luck to get a new dad (husband) who is absolutely wonderful to both of us. (he even lets me steal his spot on the couch beside mama!!)

I have recently been informed by mama that I will have a little sister come this Friday April 13/07. I always thought I would get more notice than this, but mama ensures me that I will absolutely love her, and I have always trusted mama to tell me the truth (even when it is something I'm not gonna like).

So that will be my first entry and soon we will post my new sister's first entry too.
