Leave a bone for Samson
Nicknames: Sam, Sammy, Sam-a-lama, Noodle, Doodle Boy, Snoopy, Puppy, Big Nose Boy and too many more that there isn't enough space to write them all!
Doggie Dynamics:
Likes: His family (of course), walks, playing with other dogs, swimming (even though he scratches everyone), the dog park, being outside no matter the weather and running around in the backyard (actually, running around anywhere).
Pet-Peeves: Being home alone and having no one to play with, getting combed, the swinging door in the kitchen (he refuses to go through it!) and wearing costumes on Halloween (even though they're REALLY cute).
Favorite Toy: Bones, balls (especially footballs and tennis balls), anything with stuffing in it and anything that squeaks. Oh yeah, he also likes taking socks.
Favorite Food: Anything he is allowed to eat (especially doggy treats and doggy frosting). But he also likes to eat stuff that falls on the floor (one time he ate ice cream!).
Favorite Walk: Around our block, up Ventura Blvd. and to 3 Dogs Bakery.
Best Tricks: Sit, down, stay, heel, high five, and jumping high. He can also understand when we spell out d-o-g p-a-r-k and t-r-e-a-t.
Arrival Story: We were not looking for a dog, but we walked into a pet store and all of us fell in love with him! We couldn't resist him! He was so cute and so sweet! He looked at us and started barking, almost as if he knew he was coming home with us! But my dad still wasn't convinced. We went to dinner, and during dinner my parents came and told us that they were thinking about getting him! My dad was still a little shaky. We begged and pleaded until my grandpa said he'd get him for us! Samson was a birthday gift to me and my brother from my grandfather! He was the greatest gift I had ever gotten!
Bio: Samson was born in Missouri. He was from a place called Whispering Oaks Labradoodles. Samson's mom was a chocolate lab (named Chocolate!) and his dad was a white poodle (he has gray hairs!). Samson's litter had only 2 dogs. Samson's brother is now a seeing-eye dog for a blind person with dog allergies (Labradoodles are hypo-allergenic).
Forums Motto: I want to play!

I've Been On Dogster Since:
Today is my birthday! I just turned 3 years old. This morning, mommy took me to the dog park and I played for a long time! Tonight, I think I'm going to get a cake (with extra frosting! my favorite!) This is going to be a really great birthday!!!!! :0)
Yesterday, my mommy, my brother and my sister went away. My brother was wearing a basketball jersey, so I thought they would come back later. Only my daddy was at home. So I waited in the laundry room...and waited...and waited...and waited, but they didn't come back. But my daddy has been treating me very nicely, he's been playing with me outside, taking me on walks and doing all sorts of fun things! Still, I miss my mommy, my brother and my sister. I hope they come back soon.
Today, mommy took me to the dog park! It was so much fun! I ran and ran and ran and played and played and played! Finally, after what seemed like forever, mommy decided to take me home. I was walking really really really slowly until we got to the car. When we got to the car, I laid down in front of it and refused to move! Mommy got kind of mad at me. I thought she was going to pick me up and put me into the car. It turns out, I'm too heavy to be carried! It took about 2 minutes for mommy to get me into the car. Usually, when we drive home from the dog park, I like to stick my head out of the window. But today, I just laid down on the back seat sleeping. When I got home, mommy took my leash off, and then I blocked the doorway! Mommy tried to move me, but after that didn't work, she decided to walk over me. I'm so tired right now. It was a fun (and very tiring) day!
