My 3rd Birthday

Today is my 3rd birthday. I can't wait for my birthday dinner (I hope I get a nice steak!) and treats!

I want to thank all my friends for all the rosettes and gifts!

Today is also my friend Angel's 3rd birthday! Its so nice to share my birthday with a friend!

I was tagged by best dogster pal ANGEL to play this Valentine's Day Tag game...I'm supposed to list my 5 Valentine's Day wishes and then find 5 of my pup pals and tag them with the same 5 wishes...here goes...

My 5 Valentine's Day Wishes:

My 2nd Birthday

Today I have turned 2. I share this day with my friend ANGEL. I feel very special to have a friend like her. Although I wish we could share our birthdays together, it's great knowing I have someone to share my birthdays with forever.

Tonight we are having a birthday party for me and some of the friends I made since we moved here are coming. I am really excited but I wish very much that all my dogster pals could be here!

I have got several presents including a new bed, although I don't understand it fully but my parents will make a donation to the shelter I came from just like they did for my 1st birthday. They say it's "giving back a little for giving us so much".

IT IS HALLOWEEN TAG!!!!

I was tagged by my buddy HENRY and my pretty girl pal ANGEL!

Here are the rules:

There are some seven new facts about me:

1. I am a Carolina dog now--well it's more like we just recently moved to Raleigh, North Carolina.

2. I have never got into a fight.

3. I am the fastest dog at the dog park until a greyhound or a purebred whippet pal shows up.

4. Lately, my favorite treats are these peanut butter treats that my daddy bakes for me.

5. I just saw a salamander (slimey little fella) for the first time in my life after we moved to Raleigh.

6. I am most playful and happiest after breakfast and before mommy and daddy has to go to work :(

We have just moved to Raleigh, NC

As some of you know we were planning on moving to Raleigh at the end of summer because of daddy's job. Well, finally we have moved. I didn't enjoy the car ride here all the way from IL but once I got here there were so many new things to smell. The first thing I did when I got out of the car was to mark my favorite tree!
I was a little nervous about the move but I think I like it here. There are so many trees here! The grass is still green and I have a larger play area here. I have been having fun exploring my new backyard; I even have some serious rash on my tummy.

Today I am planning on checking out the dog park here.
Tomorrow I am going to go meet my new vet.
Lots of new and exciting things but I still miss my old pad a little.

I was chosen by my pretty pitty friend Angel to play a new Dogster game called, "You are Loved". Angle is an amazing pup in every way and we were born on the same day/year! I love getting pawmails from Angel and I hope we can meet someday soon!

1. The spots on my nose get larger and darker in the summer.

2. I sneeze when I'm on my back.

3. I have to groom my fur to calm down when I get uber excited about something.

4. I know the names of all my toys, and can find them in the dark when mommy/daddy asks for them.

5. I love raspberries but not blackberries.

6. I have a black heelstop on one leg and a pink heelstop on the other.

My first win

I won the Southside Vet's (my vet) "Most Handsome" dog title today. Mommy thinks it's really cute. Daddy and I are a little embarrassed. As long as mommy doesn’t enter me in contests, it’s okay.

My first ice-cream cone!!!

Mommy said it's a beautiful Sunday so we decided to go out for ice-cream. I don't get to have any ice-cream because it's "people food", so when we decided to go out for ice-cream I was excited because I love being outdoors!

Mommy and daddy got their ice-cream cones and we were all enjoying the weather--sitting at the patio of the ice-cream parlor. A little girl came over and asked if she could pet me and mommy said "sure!". She was very friendly! It takes me a while to warm up to strangers so when mommy saw how much the little girl loved dogs, she gave the girl the rest of her ice-cream cone and told her that she could feed me some of it!!!

Today I decided that ice-cream is my favorite food!!! It was the most delicious food ever. Why did mommy and daddy wait until today to let me have some ice-cream??? I hope we get ice-cream every time we go out now!

My friend Angel is also supposed to go out for ice-cream today, I hope she gets to have delicious ice-cream as well!

On a side note, I saw a soon-to-be mommy goose sitting on a bunch of eggs close to a busy intersection, and the soon-to-be daddy goose was guarding her. I really wanted to go play with them but I could tell that they were far from interested!
