Here are some songs I wrote in my free time. It's called Fly with the Eagle.
The freedom I feel across the field as I run
Next to the river underneath the shining sun
Stop and hear the sound of beating wings
Looking up I see something that makes me want to sing
Because I, can fly, with the eagle
I, can run, with the mustangs
I, can never be captured
Unwritten, never to be tamed
One of these days when you see the shadow
Above your head my spirit will be
'Cause I, can fly, with the eagle
I, oh I, am free
Though life and love and other things get in the way
The wild is where my soul is every day
Nothing can keep me from where I belong
My inspiration, the words behind the song
When I, can fly, with the eagle
When I, can run, with the mustangs
Flowing, shimmering, as the river
This is, how my life will be
Across the river, over the mountains
Right near the sun that warms me
I, will fly, with the eagle
Because I, oh I, am free
Don't even say that I can't do this
Never say it's impossible
I will believe no matter what you say
Your ropes, chains and locks can't keep me down
You can never, never, tie me down.......
Because I, can fly, with the eagle
And I, can run, with the mustangs
Changing, growing like the seasons
I, am always nature's child
I will, I must, it's destiny
This is just the way that I will be
Because I, can fly, with the eagle
I, oh I, am free
I, can fly with the eagle
I, will fly, with the eagle
I, can fly, with the eagle
With the eagle
My second song is called Basic
It seems we live in a material world
Where life is based on what you wear
Seems like there's not many people
Who dress plain without a care
Peer pressure, high-tech gadgets
Life always in the fast lane
Why is everything like an endless game?
Chorus: I don't need what's called cool
I can be happy without being at the top
Saturday nights aren't about huge dance clubs
A calm night at home still rocks
Family, friends, a loving boyfriend
Beat money and fame by a long shot
As long if I've got a home and someone who loves me
The basic life is the life, for, me
(For me...)
Seems like you're only cool if you have a boyfriend
So everyone's trying to get one
I've seen girls who'll stay with a jerk
Because otherwise she's off the social ladder
But I'd rather be unpopular than living a lie
Because I know I've got a family at home
I'd pick my best bud over a boy anytime
Because that's what matters more
(Speaking: And that's what life is really all about anyway, you know?)

Hi there! Before I start with this diary, I want you to know that you aren't reading a mere journal. You are looking at a work of art, from a true artist. These are stories of me, that you will be able to read and have good updates of my life in my home. So, know that you know this is a work of art from the unlikely artist, read on, my friend.
My name is Summit. I'm six years old in dog years, which would be 37 years for a human, depending on how you count it. Some people count it as 7 years for a human is one year for a dog. Example- 1 dog year- 7 human years, 2 dog years-14 human years, etc. But the way I just counted it is the way some people count it.
1 dog year-10 human years
2 dog years- add 15 human years, so 25 human years,
All other years, 3 more dog years.
So I'd either be 42 (first way) or 37 (second way). It all depends on how you count your dog years.
Anyway, now that you know how old I am, you should learn a bit about me. I live in a quiet Virginia home with my human parents, my little sister Abigail (or Abby, as everyone knows her. She's only Abigail when she's in trouble), a number of chickens and two goats. I like to go on walks through the woods, greet the mailman at the fence when he comes delivering letters, sleep and run around. I really hate loud noises, like gunshots, thunderstorms and breaking dishes, overly negative people and drama. I really like people food and gourmet dog food. Well, that's enough about me for now. Hope you'll come back to this page and read more from my paws. Bye for now!
Love,
Summit.
