My Gotcha Day!

3 years ago today Momma saw me drive up to the house, little ears pert, nose in the air and she knew....she knew we were meant to be.

I was just a scared little puppy, 6 months old and had been kicked to the curb by my other owners, my new adopted mom (from whom my NOW Mommy adopted me) and who knows how many others.

I was a bit of a "pain in the tail" for the first few months, but now, I must say, I am totally perfect. BOL...well......

Mommy loves me a lot, so does my Daddy and my Granma and Granpaw! I get so much love, but I give so much in return. Momma likes to say I make her smile 100 times a day.

Momma's Note: Birdy does make me smile 100 times a day, she is the most wonderful dog a woman could have. She is my sweet precious baby girl and I love her so much there are no words to quite describe it.

And to all a good night. It's been a lovely day but this dog is DOG tired. Hope everyone had a great Christmas mine was super fun! I gotz a lot of treats and toys but best of all: MY FAVORITE PEOPLE LOVED ON ME ALL DAY LONG!!!!

OH BOY CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!

My stocking is LOADED up with goodies!!!! I am so excited.

But I want to take some time to remember all the pups out there who, like my very FIRST Christmas, are spending Christmas in shelters all over the world.

May they ALL find the love I have in my home.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Oh boy I have a lot to be thankful for today. It started with a walkies and off leash romp by the golf course, complete with quick raid of an over turned garbage can.

Then Breakfast.

Then another walkies and off leash romp at the middle school down the street and some serious ball chasing/mole hole digging.

Then further walkies to the starter gate at the golf course, where the starter guy gave me 3 doggie cookies!!!!! 3 of 'em!!!

Then we came home and Mommy and Daddy gave me some pate', some dill Havarti cheese and a cracker. (Mommy notes I got VERY little of the items mentioned, VERY little). Granpaw has also been slipping me doggie ginger bread cookies on the side!!!! Oh and a bit of turkey juice soaked ice fell out of the other Bird, and I sucked it up off the floor!!!! AWESOMENESS!!!!

Have I mentioned how much I love this day?

I am now curled in a little round Birdy ball on the sofa watching football with Daddy! Oh and DO NOT MAKE MY MOMMA MAD!!!! She just put the other Birdy in the OVEN!!!!!

I am the DOG OF THE WEEK!!!!!! WHOA!!!!!

Holy mole holes batman!!!!!

This is so cool I am the DOG OF THE WEEK!!!!

A whole week of being THE dog!!!!!

Wait till I tell my buddies at the park they are going to be so totally jealous of me! I mean, not only am I super cool, but now I have like a title or something which is totally cool!!!!!

And the next lizard I eat will be honored and stuff and maybe he won't make me chase him to much and just let me eat him!

YEAH!!!!

Mommy always says I am destined for stardom!

Hawt Dog

Hawt Diggity it's hot! My tongue is hanging out and I'm all pooped out but I had fun at the doggy park! Mommy gave me ice cubes, I like to break them up and leave little ice cube surprises around the house for Mommy and Daddy to step on later! BOL! Happy Summer!

Ice Cream Dreams!

Maizy tagged me for Ice Cream Tag...I'm supposed to say what ice cream I am.

I guess I'd have to be Mint Chocolate Chip because I'm light colored and have dark dots all over me.....and when I roll in freshly cut grass (which is oftern...I turn green too!)

Evil Hath Cometh

All right I just want to state for the record that vacuums are evil. Mommy can leave it out and coat it with treats all day long, and I am NEVER going to bond with the vacuum cleaner. I don't care, Mommy, if you flippin' rub steaks all over the dumb thing it is not going to make me react any less frightened in the same room as that hideous sucking beast.

DIE VACUUM DIE!!!!! Thank you, I needed to release that.
