A sad day...

Yesterday we learned that my neighbors Police K9 Dog passed away from bloat. This was his second bout with bloat in a year. After undergoing surgery he later passed away the next morning. Lobo you will be greatly missed. You were a hero, a protector, and a beautiful pet. You will be missed on the police force.

Today is the 4th of July a day you hated with all of the fireworks. I knew you thought it was gun fire and wanted to jump into action. So, while all of the fireworks bang all night you shall rest in piece.

DNA Test

Dad finally got the results of the DNA test to see what mixes I actually am. He used the same company that was shown on the Today show. Well the results were not that great and I think someone has messed up. The results came back that they could not determine the Primary or Secondary breed composition. And it showed that I have German Shorthaired Pointer in the mix.

I smell something fishy with this test....

Getting read for the move..

Daddy and I are getting ready for the big cross country move this week... I am a little worried, but Dad tells me everything will be OK. Yesterday we said good bye to our pals at the local Pet Food Express. I will miss them all... Then I had a bath... As we head out onto the road I will update my progress...

Learning New Tricks...

Yesterday my daddy took me to a new class to learn to do some cool tricks... I am a fast learner. THe first week was pretty basic, but I nailed a bunch of them... I can now high-5 and do other basic things... Now if I can only answer the cell phone...

Laci on TV...

Now that Dogster now has video. I decided to post a video of Laci from a couple of years ago shortly after I first got her. I heard on the radio of a big dog event at the local Humane Society. So we went on Sunday. There I decided to get a micorchip for Laci. When we went into the waiting room there was the guy from the loacl NBC news station. He saw how cute Laci was and asked if they could film her getting the microchip. So in we went... The rest is history as they say. Thanks to TiVo it is a permanate memory of my little girl...

Passed the CGC on 4/27/06

On Thursday night passed my CGC test. After 6 weeks of training it feels so good. My daddy was a little worried about the supervised separation, but I did not make a peep until the end when I knew he was coming.

Bark in the Park

Today I went to Bark in the Park in San Jose... A little overwhelming at first but it was fun to walk around. Th epolice dog Hunter and I hit it off... Until next year....

Spent the day at work...

Another exciting day in my life... I was at work with Dad all day... Stopped for a quick McDonalds and then home to relax...
