It's been a week.....

It's been a week now, since we put Aku to sleep. It's funny, cause, I have three kids, and my house is always so busy, and noisy, but since Aku's been gone, it seems so much quieter. Like something is missing. I've been spending a lot of my time lately in my room, not in the living room, where I would usually spend my days. Don't worry I haven't neglected my kids, I've been straightening up, and catching up on things. Looking at pictures of Aku. My kids, they're always looking at Aku's picture on my dresser. I know they miss him too. My husband gets sad when he sees the slide show I made for Aku. That little guy made such an impact on our family.

We talked about getting another little puppy. We talked it out with our little girl. She says she wants to get another one, so she doesn't have to be sad any more. We told her, that we wouldn't be replacing Aku. She thinks that we would get a new one, that looked like him, and even give him the same name. I told her no, it's not like that. Yes, we'd get a new one, but not to say it's another Akumaru.

We miss having a little puppy. It would be nice to have another one around the house.
