Chasing her kitty brother, Grendel, and biting his head, her wading pool, her best buddy Chewie, waking people up in the morning, smooching, finding things that have fallen on the floor that shouldn't be chewed by puppies and chewing them to pieces.
That pesky baby gate that sometimes keeps her from Grendel, being groomed and her groomer :(
Anything that squeeks, especially Squirrely Squirrel.
Her brother Leko's food is ALWAYS more appealing!
To grammy's house, down the path to the dog park, across the parking lot to daycamp.
puppy pushups, becoming totally deaf when her name is called and she doesn't want to come.
Abbie's mom was rescued from a puppy mill auction in the MidWest. When she was taken to the vet to be spayed, they discovered she was pregnant. 8 little pups were born a few weeks later, Abbie was puppy #8. We work with a Wheaten terrier rescue group and since we had been looking for a second Wheaten that got along with our cats, and several fosters we had didn't work out, we were offered a puppy. How could we resist!
Abbie is "three kinds of crazy", as her Uncle Guy puts it. She is sweet, loving, gentle, and just plain goofy. She loves everyone and everything, and lives life with gusto! She is the perfect puppy!
Is it playtime?

Mom and dad took me to Day Camp yesterday! Wow was it FUN!
I had to get up awfully early and I wasn't in the mood for breakfast, then mom was shuffling me into the car and I was really sleepy and just wanted to go back to bed. I heard mom say something about Chewie and playing, but all I wanted to do was sleep.
We got out of the car that place where that woman CUTS my hair so I didn't really want to go in, but there was a nice yellow lab wagging her tail and walking in front of me, so I figured it might not be so bad. Thankfully, instead of heading back to the grooming area we turned left and when into the petshotel.
When I got in there the yellow lab was there and she was doing all the tricks mom was having me do right with me! When did mommy train that doggie?
Then mommy left and they were pulling me back into another room where all I could smell was other doggies. Pretty soon they took me in a room with a bunch of other doggies and TADA!! there was my best buddy Chewie!!!!!!!!!! We were both so happy that we played and played and PLAYED! Then I had ice cream and a nap, and then it was back to PLAYING!!
Mommy came and picked me up after work and Chewie spotted her first. He was jumping up on the glass wagging his tail at her, and generally being a goofy boy like HE was her doggie, and not me!
By this time I was pretty darn tired and glad to see mom. But boy did I have FUN!!! She put me in my crate in the car and I promptly fell asleep. I vaguely remember eating dinner and going for a short walk later..... zzzzzzzzzzzz.............
Tip for the day: get your mom and dad to take you to day camp!

A blog on Dogster?! Does that make this a Blogster??
I have had a rough week this week. It rained a lot so mom wouldn't let me outside to play much. I haven't seen Chewie in a week.
Last night something fell out of the pantry while dad was making brownies, so of course I had to investigate... After chewing the blue paper-y thingy for awhile it tasted really yuck and I stopped. I ended up with smelly orange stuff on my paws and I kept sneezing. Mom came in all panicked because my paws were dark orange and she thought it looked like blood at first... then she laughed at me and gave me lots of kisses and asked me why on earth would I want to chew on taco seasoning packages - whatever those are. I tried to tell her I didn't even know what she was talking about.
I pretended not to like the rinse off that I got, but really I was so glad to get that stinky stuff off of me!! Yuck!
My tip for the day: Don't chew on taco seasoning packets!
