Arrival Story: Mom didn't want human kids yet, so....they she researched dog breeds on the internet, and fell in love with the Shiba Inu breed. She wanted a small dog that was a good watchdog/protector, was fairly easy to train, with a moderate energy level and was still affectionate. She did all kinds of online dog breed selectors, and the Shiba Inu breed was always in the top five. My mom has always loved white/light colored animals, and had to get a Shiba after she saw pictures of cream Shiba's (cream is the most rare and UNdesirable color in Shibas). She then ran across me, and the rest was destiny.
Bio: I am a daddy!! I am the father to 17 Shiba Puppies that love all over California. I have a double curl tail that my mom calls a cinnabun, because thats what it looks like. I am a big Shiba! Currently, I'm 16 1/2 inches tall and weigh 30.4 pounds. I love chasin' the birdies and the sprinklers in the backyard and wrestling with Bella!

Well, I have had an adventurous couple of months!! Bella was getting pretty fat in August and I told her to cut down on the kibble, but you know how women can get, and she took it the wrong way. She was real mean and witchy to me for over a week after that. Then one night the humans were fussing over her like she was Queen of Shiba. The next day I had three little new furballs to play with. I wasn't too sure about these new little weird-smelling, noise making balls of fur. I was fine investigating myself, but if one of the humans picked one up and put it by me, I would jump back in the opposite direction, they really freaked me out.
I watched these little balls of fur closely and suspiciously as they opened their eyes and started moving and walking around. After about 4 weeks I was loving my three new little puppies that seemed to be made for the sole purpose of amusing me and being my playmates. Well, 2 weeks ago the humans went and gave two of my babies away! I thought we were going to get to play forever together, I miss my little babies. I still get to play with Sesame, my son, and show him the ropes. I am a proud Shiba daddy and love to play with my little buddy.
Mom and Dad took me and sis, last weekend, to the mountains, to cut down a tree! We walked around a really cool place with lots of trees, I wasn't sure why we were there, and then Dad cut one down, and said we were taking it home! I was like "A tree in the house Dad? Have you lost your mind? You won't let us come inside with dirty feet!" So now I have my very own tree in the house, don't you know they got it just for me? They said they're going to put presents underneath the tree, but we can't open them until Christmas. We'll see about that, if one smells good, I might try to take a peek ;).
Yeah, mom made me ride in the car with her for a whole hour yesterday, just so we could go see daddy at work. I wanted to ride in her lap, but she actually made me sit in the passanger seat, buckled in! I couldn't believe it myself either! So I kept trying to get on her lap, but my stupid harness was buckled in, AHHHH! Eventually, I curled into a little shiba ball and went to sleep, but not before I let her know I was mad by letting out a series of unneccessarily loud, obvious "sighs" every time I moved. At least I didn't have to ride in the backseat like my sister, hehe, and mom let us out on a dirt levee road to sniff around and explore for a few minutes, I guess she's not that bad of a mom after all. =^._.^=
