Arrival Story:
I told my niece I was going to adopt a dog and she told me to adopt a fluffy one. Well, that evening I went on petfinder.com and found Spencer. I knew I had to have him. It was about 11pm on a Saturday and I filled out the pre-adoption forms. The next morning I got an email telling me that they received my application and that Spencer will be at adoption day, that afternoon. I immedietly drove over there and saw "my dog"! He was so shy, but he wasn't toward me. I took him for a walk and when we came back, I hugged him! Everyone who knew Spencer was shocked to see that Spencer didn't try and dodge the hug. They all said "Spencer doesn't let people hug him", and I thought they were lying to me because they wanted me to adopt him. Well, its true, Spencer doesn't trust strangers and does not let people near him, except for ME! And we lived happily ever after!

Bio:
Spencer was unadopted and unfostered for over a year. I can't believe what everyone missed out on. He's the sweetest dog with the calmest temperment and disposition. He's also the shyest dog I've ever met in my life.
