The vet has me figured out. Yesterday I got my shots, check-up, and nails clipped. As soon as I walked in the vet said "it's the magic glass-eating dog!" And Mom filled him in on my cantaloupe experience. He looked at me and said, "you WANT me to do surgery, don't you?!"

Well, shucks. He got me.

I ate a cantaloupe. I was bored and there was this cantaloupe on the kitchen counter. I've never had cantaloupe before, so I gave it a try. I rolled it onto the floor and started chewing.

It wasn't very good. It wasn't worth all the effort, that's for sure. So I only ate about half. And then in the middle of the night, I got really sick and vomited cantaloupe seeds all over the rug by the kitchen door. D'oh.

No more cantaloupe for me.

and then there were two

Esther and I are alone in the house now. Naomi, the old cat, got really sick and Daddy Dog took her to the vet and she didn't come back. Now Esther is confused and meows a lot--I think she's still looking for Naomi. She wasn't much fun, but it's definitely less interesting around here without her. And sadder.
