Well it's Sunday here in da WA area, and da dad was cleanin out da garage thingy...(boy did it need it) Momma wa cleanin in da house and we were all jus chillin in da big back yard. Dad was taking sum tools back to the shop to put them away when he heard us all talking and yip'in and stuff in da far corner of da yard, back where all da tractor stuff is storred. Well he came around to see whut all da fus was about and found us talking to our new friend Pepsi...(we didn't know his name right then but as it turns out dat is his name.) Pepsi is a little Black and tan Chi doggy, and he was scared of us. Max would not let anyone near him and was protectin him. Well dad made us all go back in da house, but Pepsi was really scared and just huddled up by the fence, and when dad tried to pick him up, he was growlin really mean like. Now dad is too funny comin from about a 4 pound dog...so dad went and got da crate, and sum puppy chow and water and put it in a bowl. You cud tell he had not eaten in a while, cuz he was really skinny....Dad got him to go into da crate and den carried him up to da house, were da girl hoomans were makin a fuss all about him. Dad got sum cheese, cuz he knows dat is truelly da way into a puppy heart. Pepsi made nice and took da cheese right from dad's hand wif out even bitein him. Dad den went to the puter and looked for lost doggies like dis in our area, and sure enough his pickture was on Craig's list. Seems he was taken from someone's back yard about 10 days ago, but den he must of escaped and was on his own for a while. I don't know how he found us, but it was a good lmove on his part. Dad called da number, and told da lady he was pretty sure we had Pepsi, and dat we wud meet here at the Fred Meyer Stoore in 10 minutes. Well as soon as Pepsi saw and heard da lady, you cud tell he knew here and loved her. He got all wiggly and came right too her, dene even let dad hold him while da lady looked in his mouth. Turns out he needs dental surgery and it was fur sure her Pepsi. (we cud tell just from da way he greeted her) He was givin her kisses and was really happy, and so was she. Her 5 year old son has been really sad since he was taken, so now he can be really happy again, and Pepsi can get his surgery too. We are really glad it all turned out gud for our new friend Pepsi too.

We met a new friend this weekend while we were at our boat. His name is Louie and he is an 11 year old Golden Lab. We were coming back from breakfast at one of our favorite places called the Calico Cupboard. Dad always brings us a bite from his breakfast. When we were driving back into Shelter Bay, dad spotted Louie walking up the road. He just had that lost dog look to him, like he was looking for something familiar. No keep in mind this is July 5th and last night there was non-stop fire works on this side of the channel. Dad stopped the car and Louie came right over to us. He was wet and muddy and had apparently been swimming in the bay, or channel. Since dad speaks fluent “Dog” he was able to communicate with him, and he told dad his name was Louie, he told dad he was indeed lost and gave him his phone number. Well dad whipped out his cell phone and called Louie’s owner. He said he must have wandered away last night during the fire works. He was almost 3 miles from home. We stayed with Louie until his person came to get him, and boy he sure was glad to see him when he got there. We went on back to our boat and had the rest of the weekend to play…Louie was glad to be home too…
