Gone but never from our hearts

Love multiplies, it doesn't divide

Mom decided to give my two dog beds to a couple deserving dogs at a shelter. It made her sad to see my beds around the house. she took them up there and she went to see the doggies with the manager. He put my beds in the kennel with two cute mutts, and right away both of them picked a bed and curled right up. Mom was smiling and crying at the same time. so I am glad that I could help make life a little more comfy for a couple dogs that are not as lucky as I was.

Besides, I have the ultimate bed now- cloud 9. I am real happy Mom did this. but she did keep my favorite special blankie for herself, so we are always together.

Oscar went to the bridge

Oscar's nose tumor has been getting a lot worse the last couple days. He could barely breathe and this morning when he woke up his face was all puffy and his eye was swollen shut. so, the tumor was getting bigger. He was shaking and clearly in pain. we could not stand to see him hurting anymore and took him to the vet today. we stayed with him and told him what a good boy and good little friend he was. He fought the good fight, but it was time. it was over very quickly. he died on a pretty spring day, no scary thunderstorms. now he is probably being welcomed at the bridge by my former cuties, Muffin and Boogy. Run free, my little man. you are young and healthy again and we will see you again someday. Thank you for the great gift of your 13 years. Never forget "our" song- You're My Best Friend by Queen.

Mom and Dad are going to plant a pretty tree or bush in the yard just for you. you will be in our hearts forever.
