Hi!

This is Sammy, Molly and Pongo's mom, Mishy writing. I wanted to thank all of my wonderful Dogster and Catster friends for sharing their thoughts, wishes, and prayers for us after the loss of my dear husband Ernie. It meant a tremendous amount to us, especially since we have no family in the area and it really made me feel a lot less alone in this world. Thank you again, I will never forget your kindness...

I lost the love of my life Shelby this weekend. A purebred GSD aged 13.5 years. I likely am not worthy of her love, she had an undying devotion to me. She constantly gave more than she took. I am completely crushed but take solice in the fact she went on her own terms. At home. With me in her arms. Peacefully. What an amazing dog. I cannot even comprehend the loss at this time. I long for the days of endless playing in the yard with the soccer ball. She was quite a good player back in the day. Oh, how I miss her! What a hole in my heart.
