woot!

hey hey guess what!
i made it to the state fair this year.. didn't turn my brain on last year so i didn't make it... but i did this year and won top of my class! whoo! it was really exciting, we were not expecting it at all... when they were getting down to the awards of excellence i was thinking that they forgot to put my name down for anything, because there was no way i could get any of those awards... but i did! it was in obedience... i didn't do so hot in agility... got a white and a blue... but hey, that's pretty decent for izzabelle.

Yay Yay!!!!!!

Well, I hope you guys were praying for me and wishing me luck, cause if you did, it worked! I got FOURTH!!!!!! at the State Fair!! Out of FOURTEEN!!!!! If I hadn't gotten up on my long down, I would have won!!! But I didn't and the girl who won was very lucky and I am glad that she got it. She loved her dog dearly and you could see that he (or she?) loved her back! I got a blue ribbon! I also tried the rally obiedience....that, I was not so hot in. But it was fun! I didn't really like the big city though, it was too loud and too many cars!! Hopefully since I know that it's there and if I make it up there next year I will enjoy myself more.

Okay, we kind of took a break on training....and now the State Fair is only WEEKS away!!!!! We are trying to train as much as possible, but we still need luck!!! Just one quick prayer please!! only take a minute!! and you can wish us luck if you wish too.

i think this song is perfect for what goes on in Izzabelle's mind. She loves our family a lot and doesn't care what anyone thinks of her. She can always make you laugh and she enjoys it! she loves it when you laugh at her!

HOOOOOOORAY!!!!!!!

Guess who just won CHAMPION in dog obedience??? IZZABELLE, IZZABELLE!!!!!!!! sorry, but i am just SO excited!!!!! we really worked hard this year and i know that Louis would have been PROUD!!!!! i really didn't think we would get it, this being such a strict judge and all, but IZZABELLE WON!!!!! and there was a LOT of dogs that had a close score to Izzabelle's and I AM SO HAPPY!!!! I am also glad that the people who came in Reserve Champion who had a REALLY close score (175, and ours was 181) that came and congradulated us, got FIRST PLACE IN SHOWMANSHIP!!!!!! i was VERY happy!!! cause they didn't HAVE to come over and congradulate us... and they didn't seem like they were disappointed in who won either and they were VERY nice people. and, the other two people who congradulated me got reserve or REALLY close to reserve in showmanship, too! so it just shows, that it pays to be nice. AND my best friend (ONE of my best friends) Megan ALSO won a champion, but she didn't get a champion ribbon cause she got a red. AND she got reserve champion in showmanship!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK TO ALL THOSE DOG SHOWERS, and not, and just good health and good luck!!!

Training, Training, TRAINING!

My owner wanted to show me at the fair so we had to go into training. I was a little (ok, A LOT!) scared to be there because it was just like the Humane Society training and I thought that I would never see my owner again and she was bringing me back! And plus, I wanted to be by Ashly and Louis! (They were training there, too.) I was pretty bad for almost the entire training time. My best time, I would have to say, would be during the actual show and when we were practicing at home. My worst tricks were "figure 8's" and "finishes". They are all too much to remember! I think I did really well.

Way Back When...

When I was a puppy I was abused. My owner thinks maybe it's because I wasn't a purebreed and that's what my previous owner wanted was purebreeds. I am the only one left in my family. Even my mother died. I got turned over to the Humane Society. I made a few friends there, but I was lonely and I HATE being locked up. Finally, FINALLY, my owner came to the Humaine Society to pick me up. They thought that I was a nice, calm dog. Boy, did I prove them wrong! They were gone 2 minutes and I had soiled the front seat and all of my adoption papers and I was stuck in the trunk (it was a van). Right then and there they knew that I was more than they bargained for. But they love me just as much as they love Louis even though we are complete opposites.
