My fight!

On friday September 21, 2007 a stray came up to my fence and tried to put his head in and eat my food...oh I don't think so. I started fighting him and he injured me really bad. He ripped my eye lid and ripped my tounge right down the middle. Mom took me to the vet and they kept me there until tuesday the 25th. They sewed my tounge up. I do have alot of my tounge missing on the end. Mom was really worried when the vet told her monday the 24th that I could not go home yet, because I was not eating or drinking. Mom was so worried. Mom went up there on Tuesday the 25th just to check on me and the nurse came back and said well she is doing good and she gets to go home today! Mom said wow...wow.. when? She said right now! When I saw mom and my human brother I was so excited! I was just smiling real hard. Mom says the county did away with the leash law. We live on almost 4 acres in the country and everyone thinks we are the dump for strays. Mom says it is not fare at all. They will not come get them and take them to the shelter any more. I am doing really well and so happy to be home!
