Daddy got "lost"

Yesterday we went on a mountain bike ride with my dad (as usual) cept this time he got "lost". And instead of a nice 2 -3 hr run, it turned out to be 4+. My PAWS HURT! Mommy yelled at daddy for not using trail shoes 'cause she saw how pink my paws were. ;_; we'll be ok though, today it's SNOWING again. we ran around our yard destroying all the pretty powpow. It's great to have a snowing rest day!

Well, mommy made daddy take me the the vet that second time because the vet wanted to do a full blood panel and a pancreatic lipase test on me... whatever that means. And everything came back totally healthy, YAY! They said that I had a little bit of something that even mommy can't remember, but they decided to try deworming first. After that they said maybe it was just because I digest my food too slow so it goes bad in my tummy before it comes out the other end so I end up vomitting it up instead. So the vet gave mommy some pills (which I don't like)! But mommy has perfected in making me swallow them. BLECH!

Mommy's been very peeved these days because of the dog food recall thing. And even though we weren't affected by it, mommy is still worried that processed foods are still bad (especially cause I have a delicate tummy). So she started cooking for us. It's very very yummy, but I don't like the veggies, and she tries to trick me by cutting them into kibble sizes... I'M NOT STUPID!! I can tell a carrot from my kibble! But so far I haven't thrown up once in 2 weeks since we saw the vet. Mommy's very proud of me.

At the vet's...

I guess I haven't been feeling my best lately, though mommy couldn't tell because I can still run circles around her when we go trail running. But she made me go see Dr. Randy twice this week. The first time they had this thing called a "thermometer" and that was REALLY unpleasant!!! But when they had to take blood, Dr. Randy said I was an angel. HA! I think Grover just wanted to come along cause Dr. Randy always gives us treats when we visit. I hope there's nothing wrong with me!

Spring!

I've decided that 60F is just too hot for me. Yeah, it's great that daddy will take us running 4 hours a day, but why couldn't we do this in the winter? I think maybe I'm just out of shape? Most of the rest of the day is just spent sleeping and thankfully Grover is even more out of shape than me. So he doesn't even have the energy to play fight these days. When we do argue, we both are lying back to back with our mouths open. Mommy says it's the silliest fighting she's ever seen. Spring time is great!
