Arrival Story:
A friend of mine had a dog who was having puppies. My husband at the time and I went to see them and they were so cute, we took two of them, Tess and her brother, Eugene. When my husband and I parted ways, I took Tess and he kept Eugene. She's been my travelling companion for years.
Bio:
I went over and picked Tessa out before her eyes were even open and for the next few weeks, it was my joy to go over to my friend's house and sit in the middle of the pack of ten (yes, ten!) and let them maul me and try to chew on my jeans and other clothing. I named Tessa for Tessa Noel from Highlander, because she had a white "T" on her chest.
She presented us with a surprise litter of pups 8 years ago, and my daughter kept one of them. The rest were eagerly adopted by various friends of ours who love Miss Tessa and wanted a dog just like her. Sadly, Sable, the puppy we kept, left us in a sudden convulsion just about a year ago, which resulted in our getting Sirius and his brothers.

Hahaha!! I got to move back to our old home first! Mom told me I could just stay down there when she went back to Sissy's house. The hauling me back and forth was getting a bit much for me, as I'm 13 and arthritic. It was getting to be tough getting in and out of the van, and I hurt all the way there and back! Mama's just doing what's best for me, and I don't mind. Auntie Eleanor spoils me rotten, anyhow!!

Mama's been putting things in boxes again. This usually means we're going to go live someplace else. She's done it several times while I've been living with her, so, of course, I go, too.
I think Siri is a bit worried, but he's just a pup and hasn't ever moved yet. I wonder if the place we're going to is the last place we lived, cause we've been going down there every weekend lately, while Mama works on the other parts of the big house? Oh, that would be nice! I'd get to see my dear friend, Lola, all the time and Auntie Eleanor and Uncle Haakon, too!! Oh, I hope that's where we're moving to!
