my baby went to a new home.

My little daughter, Glimmer, went to her new home today. i will miss her but i knew she was ready and wouldnt let her nurse anymore. even though i still have a puppy to baby, Josie, i still look for Glimmer once a while. mom says we will go visit her after she gets settled in though, so we will see her soon.

I’m a mommy now! On December 28th I gave birth to a beautiful little black girl. She is so tiny but is growing fast. Her Grandpa, Schopenhauer, was excited to meet her and was very gentle, but he made me nervous anyway. My cat friend, Keda, loves to baby her and grooms her almost as much as I do, I don’t mind at all. I don’t even mind if little Ping comes for a visit. My little human sister has started calling my puppy Glimmer, but I don’t know if I like that name or not. My person has had to force me outside to go potty every day because I don’t want to leave my baby’s side. My human had a nesting box made up for me, but I’ve taken over the couch instead. She doesn’t mind, I can pretty much get my way right now, she spoils us anyway, but now that I’m a mommy I’m getting even more spoiled. The rest of my canine family is getting more spoiled now too, I think our human wants to make sure no one gets jealous. So far I love being a mommy, although I seem to be a lot more nervous these days. I trust my family but don’t want to leave my baby for longer than 30 seconds.
