Likes: Being around us, the family. Together with just me/myself. (Also, eatting, sleeping, and playing - as if, agenda of his daily-routine, practice and work, of course!)
Pet-Peeves: Bath or near mention of the word, being ignored, forgotten, left out, excluded from: family oriented adventure like car rides --Tiny dog next door, plain ol' clean bowl [Any as such, especially from exitement to become bored again. As if, always's hungry]
Favorite Toy: A. #1 Tennis/rubber-ball.. B. #2 He knows his allowed "Chewe' chew items only" [Any of assorted sizes and colors, huge life-size scooby to the puny plush look alike aka "Chewe Wanna-be"]
Favorite Food: Meats and cheeses, especially so. (Yet usually, pretty much any/everything that we eat ourselves with the exception of like olives, cornchips, anything in "plain"-like form - fruit, etc..
Favorite Walk: Anywhere but here or nowhere at all. Here we'll go but not after going there first. No exceptions! Yet, so just before we go -- let's just go!! (Anywhere but here, period.)
Best Tricks: Sit, shake and in occassion speaks, on command.. "Retrieval/Return" with by whistling, calling out -- "Chewe... Com'here!?" or "This way!?", etc..
Arrival Story: From much excitement and spontineity, "immediate-take-home-now-today!". The adoption was excepted in front of the local Ralph's Supermarket around @about the age of fifteen. us, without the prior parental-consent the family had no confliction or too many questions in "The Chewe Exceptance" his new home.
But anyway, he was one within a litter of puppies underneath an abandoned house somewhere, not sure of the exact location though.
Bio: He must and is more of the Border collie breed.
Yet, Chewe is lighter shades of yellow w/specific white hair markings and types. I would call him a "Border -line" Collie...!! :p
(**Compare in any reference for yourself!)
Exact, more like as he shows and/or acts in referenced towards appearance and behavior of both the "Border Collie" and "Golden Retriever" breed(s)*.
Not fun, but Chewe was hit by a car running out from the riverbed into the street and had to be put down at the vet immediately following the accident due to severed spinalcord injury. It was very saddistic and tragic time of our lives. He was still a very active dog after having had him close to 12 years or so. :(
