Winter On The Cape

Winter on the Cape is cold and quiet. The beaches are open to dogs, and no one is around to get in the way of your chuck-it game. I like winter because mom and dad don't have to work. So they can spend all their time with me! I get to go on trips with them and lots of walks. And if they go away with out me, I get to stay at my nana's. Nana is the best, she takes me on tons of walks. And she brings me to Lawrence island. A bird sanctuary. How fun! But so far there is no snow, and that is too bad. I love to eat all the snow I can manage before I throw up. Maybe February will bring the storms. Off for my mid day walk. Bye!

My Birthday!

I am five years old now. My birthday was on Friday. It was a rainy day here on Cape Cod (what a bummer!). So I couldn't go to the beach like I usually do on my birthday. But Mom took me to by some new toys! I got a cow and a new ball that is a sling shot! And of course I had cake and ice cream (It wouldn't be a party without cake and ice cream) I love being the birthday girl, to bad it is only for a day!

Summer is a blast!!

Summer is finally here! And I am loving it. Summer on the Cape means going to the beach and lounging in the hammock. ( I just got the hang of that thing) And cookouts! Friends and relatives are coming to visit almost every weekend. Mom says that's what happens when you live near the beach. I have been spending lots of time with my buddy Bella, and my summer friend Kady will be here soon. Kady loves the water, you have to drag her out of it! She should meet my pal Roxi, Roxi is the best little swimmer ever! Not me I won't go over my head. (don't want water in my ears) I prefer to wade in the shallow end of the beach. Well off to play some chuck-it! Isn't summer great!!
