Best Tricks: Well, there was the time when daddy had his back to me while reading the paper that I stole an entire tray of rolls off the top of the stove without making a sound.
Arrival Story: A friend of mine who installs Invisable Fence had installed one for Nooks previous owner. However it didn't work on the stray cats that their next door neighbor was feeding and when they came into Nooks domain he took care of the problem so to speak. The cat woman called animal control and complained. They basically staked out the house and tried their damnedest to get Nook to come out of his yard. He was smarter than the AC officers and didn't, but after a few months his owners decided that having animal control hanging around all the time harassing them and trying to bait Nook was for the birds and decided to rehome him. Bill told us, we said yes and they brought him to us. When he peed on my leg first thing so I knew he was a keeper.
Bio: Nook is our gentle giant. This BIG blue eyed boy is as sweet as he can be. He gets along with 12 of our 13 other husky kids. When he came to us both him and Bandit were intact and Bandit wasn't thrilled about another male invading his harem even though all the girls had been spayed. Both have been fixed now and have calmed down but there are some hard feelings left over and they still don't trust each other although I am beginning to think that it is an act as I have happened to catch then playing a little when they though no one was looking. As big as he is he is scared to death of thunderstorms.
Forums Motto: If it's wearing a kitty suit ... eat it!
