Arrival Story:
We had wanted a female dog initially, but when we visited the breeder and were able to have first choice, Gretzky (aka Guinness) kept climbing in to my lap. He did this every time we came to visit, so we just had to forgoe getting a girl...he was ours from the first moment we came in contact with him and it's been puppy love ever since!
Bio:
Gretzky is one of the most laid back Wheaties you will find. He is and will probably always be a lover, not a fighter as he wants to be friends with everyone. As I said, hugging is one of his very favorite things to do and we love it just as much as he does! Ruby absolutely loves to snuggle with her big brother, Gretzky as he is so snuggably soft and comfy!

Okay, someone at the breeder needs new glasses! My Mom told me that I was getting a new brother named Gizmo, but that's not what she brought home! It turns out that they were wrong, the vet confirmed it...Gizmo is a girl and Mom named her Ruby! I'm not sure what I think of her yet, but she brought me a raw hide bone, so she can't be that bad... She is pretty darn cute too. I guess I can love a sister just as much as a brother... More to come... :O)

Gretzky, here. I figure that it's time for me to start dictating my own diary since it is all about me, right?! Well, Gizmo is coming on Thursday, so I will be a part of a 'dog team', so it will then be all about US. Until then, it's still ME. :O) I can already see it...the little guy walks through the door and I greet him with a BIG PAW to welcome him. Who knows what his trip from up north will have been like, but I am here to introduce him to life in this crazy, but fun loving house! I've been a part of this family for 6 years now and it's been the best gig around! I am certainly the one who will teach him the ropes and show him how to wrap everyone around his little paw...I'm REALLY good at that! I can't wait to finally have a buddy around to play with. Lots of other dogs in the neighborhood are lucky with that, so I think that my sad eyes convinced my Mom that I needed a buddy too! Isn't it funny how those puppy dog eyes get to them every time! Like I said, WRAPPED...(hee hee) Now I will have someone to play with when the kiddos are busy doing homework or on that contraption they call the computer. Can you say BORING?! I'm much more fun to play with than that thing!!!! Oh well, in just two more days things are going to change and I can't wait! I just know I'm gonna love having Gizmo around!!
