   Leave a bone for Kelso

Kman, Buddy, Yo

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:

July 15th 2001

retrieving, FOOD, swimming, chasing our cat Sabian, retreiving, FOOD

other dogs mounting him; most dogs bigger than him (I think he has a complex)

Favorite Toy:
Tennis ball or squeek toy

Favorite Food:
Everything. He'll eat anything. The funniest was when he ate a non-toxic flourescent green highlighter..I couldn't stop laughing after I opened his mouth to find that his tongue was now too flourescent green.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere. Ultimately he prefers to run after his ball.. run run run.. he loves to run

Best Tricks:
getting the newspaper; picking up pears in our backyard and putting them in a bucket

Arrival Story:
Kelso was a dream right away when we got him at 7 weeks. This is fitting as his mother's name is "Dreamer". The breeders, John and Barb Mitchell, are fantastic. Kelso is extremely motivated by food and balls so training him is a breeze. He loves to be active but can also enjoy relaxing at home. He is fanatical about retrieving and swimming. If he is near water and has a ball he can't think about anything else. He goes almost everywhere with us. We hope to get another dog in the next year or so. Maybe another toller maybe not. We've considered a Leonberger but lately are considering another Toller. Cheers to all.

Forums Motto:
Are we going out to play now?

Well, playing around the house today. Managed to cut my foot whilst messing around and chasing the cat. Turns out I lacerated the tendons in my back leg. After an expensive surgery I was off to Rehab ... but I said No. No. No. ... seriously I had some great workouts on the underwater treadmill. Check out the photos of me on the treadmill. Between this and my grandma taking me for walks every day my muscles did not atrophy while I was in my cast. I am done rehab now and am good as new. Thank you to the staff at The Animal Clinic and the Animal Rehabilitation Center.
