Arrival Story:
Sierra is (was!) my first foster pup- she belongs to FL Dachshund Rescue (FLDR.org). She came to me after a few fun days on a ranch- and she sure smelled like she enjoyed it! Several baths later, though- she smells like the sweet baby she is! Sierra makes my three look like spoiled brats. She's quite a pleasure to have around, and when the time comes, it's going to be very, very hard to let her go.

Bio:
"Cassie" has found a perfect home! ♥ ♥ ♥ With a wonderful couple, their sweet daughter and a perfectly lovely dachshund buddy named Sophie, she's really hit the jackpot. Sierra fought off kennel cough, and is all well! Though she was to be spending her "last" hours in a Miami shelter, it seems she had some angels on her side- and this pretty little dog was spared that fate. On her first night here, I made her a promise- she's never, ever going back to a shelter. There's a home out there that needs a very special little girl- and we're going to find it for her! But for now, she's just taking it easy, getting well, loving on her foster brothers and sister (when they aren't trying to eat her breakfast that is- tsk, naughty dachsies!), and enjoying life again.
