Arrival Story:
We got Wilson at the Animal Control facility in Abita Springs, Louisiana. At 12 weeks old, he had been a stray. He was the smallest dog in the cage and the bigger dogs were stepping on him as we tried to get him out. He had such a severe case of ear mites that he cried and cried when we tried to pet his little head.

Bio:
Wilson is so friendly and easygoing. He is always up for anything. Wilson loves swimming and chasing birds and squirrels. He gets frightened by funny things; he once spent five minutes howling (he doesn't bark so much as howl) at a cardboard cutout of Elvis. He really likes to ride in the car, even long distances; when he was a year old we moved from Louisiana to New York, and he rode in the cab of the U-Haul with us the whole way.
