Arrival Story:
Somehow I was led to Diabla on Petfinder. She was in the pound with a broken leg. I knew this dog was meant to be. I visited her and was unable that day to adopt her. Two weeks later, I was told she had cancer and was put down. One month after that, I looked on Petfinder again, and there she was with the cast off. Immediately I got the poor thing out.

My name is Diabla, in Spanish that means girl devil. Mom gave me that name because when she first saw me at the pound I looked like a devil dog. As I got a little older, I developed a white cross down the center of my chest. I guess I am still not fooling anyone. Let's get things straight. I am the boss , I will always be the boss. Sometimes our iguana brother thinks he is the boss because he is a year older. I am the biggest and I have the largest teeth. Ghost entered my family this past fall. For the first two weeks he was here, I would not even look at him. He kept coming up to me and trying to get me to play, but I would not even acknowledge his existence. Now I think he is ok, at least he lets me pummel him on a regular basis. I like to play rough. I usually detest other dogs, its my problem, everyone else deal with it. Ghost just needs to remember that I eat and drink first. He thinks he is all that because he is an eskie...whatever..I am a Kelpie...enough said. When I am in the mood to write more, I will.
