Arrival Story:
Sydney belonged to one of my very best friends, Ruma, who was killed in a car accident two years ago. She was on her way out of town, and I was dog-sitting Sydney as I did everytime Ruma went out of town. I was lucky enough to be able to keep Sydney on a permanent basis, and it is such a great comfort to have her around.

Bio:
Sydney belonged to Ruma's mother before she belonged to Ruma. She was rescued as a stray when she was about a year old. She was used to being the only dog, for 8 years of her life, until she came into my household, that is. I am a dog rescuer, and I now have 4 dogs. Sydney really wasn't all too enthused to be in the presence of other dogs when I first got her, and was quite content on her own, but she got over that extremely quickly and easily once I explained to her that she really had no choice, if she wanted to stay with me, that is. She is a completely different dog now. She welcomes all others with open paws.
