From the Rainbow Bridge to the Moon!

Hi Mom!
I just wanted to say thanks so much for making me pup pals with Lady. We are now pals at the Rainbow Bridge too! You know how much I used to love all the trips and the long hikes that you and I went on. Well, Lady took me for a really special trip to the MOON! We even had space helmets!! (see my picture on Lady's page!). I remember hearing stories about the moon when you used to speak about your friend, the astronaut, Alan Shepherd. I know you asked him how far that golf ball traveled he hit while he was on the moon , and I think he was right (because Lady and I looked for it), I think it is still going!! Gotta go now Mom, I am meeting Lady for lunch here at the bridge so we can plan some more fun trips! I miss you, but really, being a dog angel here at the Rainbow Bridge, is the next best thing to being with you on earth . . .

There are sheep at the Bridge!!

Yes Mom, there are sheep here at the Bridge!! They let me herd them whenever I want to, and even if I say so myself--I am pretty good at it!!! So, please don't feel bad that I never got to herd them while I was with you because most importantly, I remember all the loving things you did do for me . . .

I Have A Farm Now!!!

Just wanted everyone to know just how much fun we are having here at the Bridge. Yesterday was my earth brother Wesley's birthday and also my good Bridge friend Autumn's Birthday. We celebrated with lots of cake and ice cream, and Autumn came to meet my sheep! But, I woke up with a surprise today as somehow Mom was able to give me a whole farm on my Dogster page!!! I am so excited and am really enjoying the companyof all my new farm friends. I will have to get Autumn back over here to visit me so she can see my new farm! Mom thought I always deserved a farm. Good things do happen to us Bridge doggies . . .

We Welcome Eight Belles to the Bridge

Like many of our Dogster friends, we look forward to watching the Kentucky Derby the first week-end of every May. It has been 20 years since a filly won the derby, and we were really cheering for the 3 year old filly Eight Belles. She ran an incredible race, finishing in 2nd place. But sadly, her fragile legs gave out, and she was sent to the Bridge very shortly after the race ended. My friends and I will welcome her here today, give her wings, and let her know that she may now forever run free . . .forever running for the roses.

The sweet filly Eight Belles has arrived here at the Bridge. She has her wings. She is now pain free, running like the wind, running forever free, forever running for the roses . . .

Dog Of The Day!!!

Mom just got home today from a vacation to find out that I was Dog Of The Day--YESTERDAY!!!! I am sorry she wasn't here for my big day, but it brings back lots of fond memories of me and mom going to our cabin at the lake and going on lots of long hikes and swims. I am just glad she has Wesley and Sunny to do that with now.
I just want to thank everyone for the many wonderful stars, rosettes, and gifts I received---all so very much appreciated. And for all the nice pawmails and new friend requests I received. It really in an honor to be named DOTD . . . Thank you everyone!!

New Herd Of Sheep

Mom has made me a new page, and as ususal, it if full of my favorite thing---sheep!!! I may not have had much exposure to sheep while on earth, but I sure am having fun herding sheep here at the Bridge! Thanks Mom . . .

Warm Memories of Fall

I loved the fall. It meant Mom taking me on lots of hikes. Cold crisp mornings. Lots of beautiful leaves on the tress, crispy leaves on the ground to walk through. Wet and muddy paws to be cleaned when it rained. Yummy turkey at Thanksgiving. Lots of warm memories with Mom . . .

Memories Of Me

Mom has been taking my brother Wesley to a new place to hike. It is goverment owned land and every spring a large flock of sheep is allowed to come in and graze the grass. She can't help but think of me every time she sees the sheep and wishes I was there with her so I could see them. Yesterday she even got to meet the 3 border collies that watch over the sheep. Again, it made her think of me. Well Mom, don't be sad, because I am there with you . . .
