Arrival Story:
Poor little Tanner was abandoned in the big ice storm of December 2002. He was left tied to a tree on a 3 foot chain with no food or water. His rescuer saved him and worked with the county Animal Control to prosecute for neglect and animal cruelty. He adopted me in February 0f 2003.

Bio:
In spite of everything he's been through, Tanner truly is an amazing animal - very sensitive, sweet, and snuggly - he gets along with cats, and adored his older brother, Kodi, who unfortunately left this world far too young. He loves kids, people, and other dogs. He's warmed up to his new sister, and loves to play tug with her and tackle her in the yard. The only remaining evidence of his past is the fact that I have to beg him to eat, and his obsession with being in good favor - he seems to be worried that he's going to 'screw up', and constantly checks to make sure that I think he's a good boy.
