Evening Walks

It was great when Mom got home yesterday. We went for a walk before dinner. Kea wasn't very well behaved so I hope we can keep walking at night. There were lots of deer to bark at and even some other dogs were out walking. Mom told me this morning that if it wasn't raining tonight we could go for another walk before dinner again.

Walking Boy

Yesterdfay was great. We went for a walk last night right before dinner. It was so much fun that I'm hoping we can keep going for walks again. Mom mentioned that as long as we behave we can go walking. I just hope that Kea doesn't ruin it for us.

Mom Time

Yeah, I get Mom time again!!! Mom was gone for a few days last week, but now she's back to drinking her juice and watching news in the morning. I'm back on her lap and Kea just has to sit there and watch. I'm even trying not to be so mean to Kea anymore, but it's really hard since Kea is such an attention pig.

Why can't I go????

I don't know what I did wrong. Mom took Kea wiff her this morning and left me behind. I try to be a good boy, but she just took Kea and left. It's not fair. I want to go too. Why is Kea the special one??? I just have to try my hardest to make Mom understand that I'll be good when I'm with her and Kea. Maybe I can get her to take just me some time soon.

Time With Mom

I can't believe it. Mom has been home for over a week!!!!!! She said that her school was closed for the holidays and that she wouldn't have to leave each day. It has been so much fun. We've been going for walks and I've had lots of time to lay on Mom's lap. I keep telling her that she doesn't have to go back to work, but she keeps telling me that if I want to be kept in the style that I'm accustomed to that she needs to go to school again after the first of the year. I guess I'll only have her here with me (and Kea) for a couple of more days, but I can keep trying.

Time Alone

I don't know why mom takes Kea and not me??? Once this week and once last week she took Kea with her in the morning and didn't take me!!!! I really missed Kea, even though I did have all of the house to myself. I don't like being by myself and want to go have some fun with Kea when she leaves. Mom never takes one of us and not the other. Maybe my turn will be coming soon.

Time With Mom

Boy it was great to have Mom home for 4 whole days. She said it was some sort of holiday, but I didn't care. We went for a really long walk at Guadalupe State Park and I got to sit in Mom's lap lots and lots. Mom was a upset and I tried to be there for her. She says she's upset because of Kea's skin problems but I know she is really missing Yoda. This was our first time at Guadalupe State Park without her and Mom was crying a little bit as she was walking. I know she tried to hide it, but I know. Kea wasn't smart enough to figure it out. She might be smart about food and other stuff, but she doesn't know Mom as well as I do. That's why I've got to spend as much time with Mom as possible right now.

Vacation Was Fun

I know that I haven't posted for a while, but I was on vacation with Mom and Kea. We went out to the Davis Mountains and spent some time hiking. It was wonderful. Mom even let me be the "leader". I've never been a trail blazer before and it was so much fun. Mom even told me how what a good job I did leading the way, especially when we were headed back to where we parked the car. I didn't let anyone get lost. Who says having one eye is a handicap?

Darby was nice enough to send me the rules (of course he had to) since I hadn't been tagged before. Adjusting to Life With One Eye

Mom says that I'm doing really well with only one eye. Of course what she doesn't know is that I had some practice because before it became obvious to her that there was a problem I knew I was having problems myself. I just couldn't show her what was wrong. Anyway, Mom tells everyone that I'm doin' really well and I even sleep with my "good eye" down and trust that nothing will happen. What Mom doesn't know is I do that just to get some extra time in her lap.
