The Big 0-5

Today is my birthday and my mommy told me I can have a surprise, I think I heard something about special cookies. She also told me that I can have a friend over this weekend. I hope my friend can make it. I am getting old, the big 0-5 but I am still young at heart.

Start of a New Year

So this new year has not started off great. Since before Thanksgiving my mommy has been hanging out a lot more with me and I get to stay out of the crate more often. Well, ever since this 2008 thing started, I have been back to going into the crate in the morning and staying there until the afternoon. Mommy has started a new job and it is interfering with my play time. One good thing that comes from this, mommy did say that we now have room in the budget for dog treats.

3) Mommy dresses me in a Bengal uniform, but that does not bother me to much because I get a treat after she puts it on.

A trip to the Vet

Yesterday I went to the vet. I had an appointment for a regular check-up. The car ride over was great, plus the lady is so great that I go to see, she gives me all kinds of treats while I am there. Then she saw I was due for my rabies shot, so I had to get that. The lady also looked at my teeth and told my dad that I had some build-up on my teeth, so he told her to do the works on my teeth. They gave me something that made me very tired and I was with the vet a while longer than expected. Dad came and picked me up later, but I was very sleepy, the drive home was not as fun as normal since I was tired. I slept most of the day, but at least now my breath does not stink (for now).

Snow Day

Yesterday it snowed and my parents came home early from work. It was fun, I wasn't home alone and crated as long as I normally would have been. Daddy got home first, then mommy about 45 minutes later. I didn't really want to go out and play in the snow because it is cold out there. Eventually I had to go potty so I went out and played a little. It was a good day since I got extra time with my parents
