Birthday: November 1st 2003 Likes: Sitting in your lap, eating people food, riding in the car Pet-Peeves: Doorbells, strangers (especially small children), sometimes the cat. Favorite Toy: Hobbes Favorite Food: Anything the humans are eating Best Tricks: Requesting a belly rub Arrival Story: My sister and her friend rescued Monty from a box on the side of the road. She was a few weeks old and weighed about half a pound - she could fit in the palm of your hand. She was terrified and flea bitten - the vet said the fleas might have killed her had she been left much longer. We took her in 2005 (there were too many dogs at my sister's apartment and we'd been looking for a friend for our cat) and she's been wonderful. Bio: Monty is incredibly sweet, but takes awhile to warm up to strangers (she usually woofs and hides under the bed) and is terrified of children and bikes. We're not sure where this fear came from, but it's funny to see her hear a child's voice and start sprinting for home when we're outside. I've Been On Dogster Since:
