Squeaky monsters, Balls, Stuffed toys, Caila, Brooklyn & his best pal JB!

Steak, chicken, pork chops, he's a meat and potatoes kinda guy!
Favorite Walk:
Prefers full speed circles around backyard trying to catcj squirrels with Caila or Brooklyn, VRRRROOOM! and launching himself into both a high and long jump over the entire couch-doesnt seem to matter if there are people on it or not.
Best Tricks:
Being cute, suckering mom into spoiling him. Catching anything in mid-air then doing a celebratory victory lap around the room.
Arrival Story:
Kodie was abused as a puppy and ended up in the Prince William county shelter where his days were numbered until a co-worker of mine adopted him. Unfourtunatly when she unexpectedly became a mother she had to move back with her parents who wouldnt allow her to bring Kodie along, so she called me knowing how much I adored Kodie and what a sucker I am for a sob story, so I became his "temporary" guardian "Just for two weeks honey I swear" but now he is a part of our family and has found his forever home.
Bio:
Kodie stole my heart because after my dog Zeus died tragically, I though Kodie very much resembled him in the face and he had the same white patch on his chest and paws. Although he could never replace my Zoo Zoo, Kodie seems to be a little gift from heaven who was in need of a forever family and I know Zeus is smiling down on us, happy we could help another boy.

Ive been having some trouble with my back legs recently. First I was limping on the left one. Mom took me to the vet and he said he thinks I may have torn my ACL and that I need to see a surgeon. While waiting for my appt with him I started limping on my right leg too, which made it really hard for me to walk and especially climb and jump which made me sad! We went to that appt and the doc says Ive torn both my ACL's completly and I need surgery to remove them or I will suffer from arthritis which will eventually cause me to not be able to walk it will get so bad. Worse yet, the surgery is going to cost my mom between $5500 and $6900 dollars! Ofcourse she'd pay anything to help me but thats a lot of money and its gonna be tough. I wish I could help! My surgery is called TPLO, has anybody else had this? Does anybody know of any veterinary expense assistance programs that could help mom? Keep me in your thoughts and prayers to keep me safe and healthy while I undergo this sucky experience! Love you! Woof!

Our (Libbie, Caila, Kodie & Brooklyn)mom is participating in the Richmond SPCA Dog Jog to benefit the animals awaiting adoption at the Richmond SPCA. 3 of us are former shelter dogs ourselevs so we know what its like. It would sure make us happy if you wanted to pledge your support and help those doggies and kitties out! The Richmond SPCA has saved 9, 625 pet lives since becoming no kill in January 2002, woofs and licks to them! and to you if you help! here's the link!
