Best Tricks:
As mommy sings his "Sleepy Time" song, Snickey will select one of his many babies to take to bed with him. After he has his animal chosen, he will expect mommy to hold onto an arm or leg as we both carry the baby to bed.

Arrival Story:
For months, I had been calling the local animal hospital asking if they had any small dogs that were ready to be adopted. The answer was always "no," and my apartment complex would not allow medium or large dogs on a lease. I had almost given up on the idea of ever being able to have a dog at the apartments. Finally, I decided to go to the hospital, and asked the receptionist if there were any adoptable small dogs. She told me "no," once again. I asked to see the dogs anyway, and was asked to be seated for the next several minutes. When I entered the viewing area, the girl showed me all of the dogs that were ready to be adopted. There were some medium and large dogs, and I thought about risking adopting a medium-sized dog. I decided after 15 minutes that I had better think about it. As we were leaving the area, Little Snickey ran from around a corner of his kennel which led to the outside play area! He jumped up onto the wired door, and looked right into my eyes. I shouted, "Has anyone adopted him yet?!" The girl reluctantly told me "no," and that I could adopt him! I was flabbergasted that she had lied to me, but didn't care because he was now mine! Unfortunately, New York state law requires that the animal to be adopted remains at the facility for 5 days after someone is interested in the adoption. I cried as I had to leave him in the filthy, smelly place for another five days. I was terrified that the girl would somehow claim that the original owner had found him (which I would be happy for him/her if he truly belonged to that person), and then take him for herself. Luckily, after the five days had ended, Sir Snickers Alot became my baby! It was divine intervention!

Bio:
Pie-Pie was adopted, and the veterinarians have guessed that he is approximately six-years-old. Also, he has the cutest underbite which makes him look as if he is snickering at people as one lower fang holds his upper lip upward. Thus, his name, 'Sir Snickers Alot,' a.k.a "Snickey."

Hi to all of my favorite doggies out there!

I am very sorry that I haven't been able to send many thanks for all of the lovely birthday gifts, and 4th of July well wishes that I have recieved lately! Things have been just slightly hectic because my mommy is in the process of moving and we are only half-way through the whole process! Well, anyway, I just wanted to say that I can't thank you enough for the pawsome and thoughtful gifts! My mommy tried to send personal thanks to all of you, and unfortunately, the computer that she's had to use isn't allowing her to do so; the links are all frozen up!

Here's wishing all of you a pawsome and fun-filled summer and we are hoping to be back full-time after August 6th!
