December 4th, 2006:
Well Max was my friend's dog and they got Max as a gift for their daughter because she was going to college. So they kept him for a few days but then they realized how hard it was to keep him. They called up some of their friends to see if anyone wanted a dog. She called us. At first my mom was a little bit skeptible but she did say yes. So we drove to their house and the owner led us into the garage. I didn't see anything at first but then in the corner I saw a little, skinny black dog chewing on the lawnmower..[xD] Well, he was just the cutest little thing and it was love at first site and we took him home. The owner gave us a pack of ADULT dry food..[Max was only a month old], some toys and some flea spray. When we arrived home, the first thing Max did was jump around and around on the sofas and on dad's belly..[BOL] And we've kept him ever since this day!
Bio:
Max is such a sweetheart! He may look scary to little kids but the truth is, he's just a big teddy bear. He loves cuddling and he could get pet for hours! He is currently one year old and weighs around 130 pounds. He does do some strange things though! For example, if you just sit next to him and don't pet him..he starts pawing you. And if you still don't pet him he lays for a belly rub. And if you STILL don't pet him, he gets up, nudges you, and lays back down! BOL! Talk about a weirdo. Eventually we all give in and give him lots of love. Also, after baths, he loves to run around, all over the house and into the backyard. He rubs against anything he can find and soon he's even dirtier than before the bath! Lastly, Max has a favorite ball..[I think we all do] His human daddy comes out and plays with him with that ball for hours! And then one day the ball fell in the pool..Uh-oh.. Max hates water and for this ball, he jumped INTO the ball, got it and gave it back to his daddy! He didn't even run around after getting wet and he continued playing with him. A dog really is man's best friend..
