Sophie back on the sofa

I guess I am back on the sofa again which is alright with me. Mom says that I am not put together right to be a show dog so I have to be happy as a sofa dog and a squirrel security guard. I thought all my parts were in the right places, but if the judge says they aren't well I guess we have to believe him. I am a pretty easy going little girl. I guess I would have to be since at one of the shows, I fell out the car door. My human brothers back door of his car was broken, and when we turned the corner, it opened up and out I went. Luckely we were only in the parking lot, or else we would have needed CPR for my mom, since when she saw me standing there in the parking lot, she nearly stopped breathing. I was fine and just standing there looking and wondering what had happend. She grabbed me and hugged me like she hadn't seen me in years. Humans sure do worry about us dogs. We are going to try that Showing thing again.

Yes ,mom says that we are going back in the show ring. We went on a trip to New Paltz , New York where we met a few people that said that there is no reason that I can't be a finished champion like my brother Tax Audit. I am going back in the show ring but with a handler this time insted of my mom. Mom says that I should have the chance to be the best I can be, and if I become a champion then maybe my next move will be to tie the knot with Tax Audit and start a family.Well, wish me luck and hopefully by next year I will be the champion mom always knew I could be.

Sophie may be retiring from showing, but not from fun.

Well, my mom says that I am retiring from the dog show world. I am not sure why, the food is good, and it is fun to ride in the car with my family, but mom says that isn't enough, I also have to look perfect, which I thought I did, but I guess the judges didn't agree.
Mom says that although she loves me no matter what, I will not be able to say I am a finished champion like my brother Tax Audit. She says I will be 1 point Sophie forever and just enjoy playing around the house and the park and maybe visiting my buddies at a dog show now and then. Mom says that my disabled sister Greta is a Canine Good citizen and maybe I might like to do that too.
You know, any of you doggies out there reading this and saying " Gee, I am not a show dog, what can I do?" There is a lot us non-show dogs can do. We can enjoy our family by making sure they always keep us safe and warm preferably, in their bed or on the sofa. We can help to keep them in good physical shape by constantly bugging them to take us for a walk , even if we don't need to use the potty.We can make sure our home is always safe from preditors such as squirrels, or rabbits that may choose to invade our happy home, and we can also show our family how much we love them by giving them lots of hugs and kisses, and never letting them forget how much they mean to us.

"Audie" the" Houdini" Doxie

Today has been a busy day for Sophie. She enjoys running around the house playing ball all day. Well, Sophie isn't one of the smartest little girls, but it just so happends her brother is. Mommy was tired of all the running around and barking, so mommy put Sophie in her crate so mommy could do her homework. Soon after, Sophie was back running around again. Well, mommy assumed that she didn't lock the crate, so back in the crate went Sophie,and mommy checked the lock. Well in the matter of minutes, Sophie was loose again. Well, a little observation showed that her brother "Audie"was breaking her out. Daddy thought he would take care of this matter, with a twist tie. Well, it may have taken him a little longer, but her brother had her out within minutes. Now for his next trick, lets see if he can break her out of a TWO latch crate with TWO twist ties.
