Good morning Merlin my sweet and gentle giant.

Its quite a nice day today so far, there's quite a lot of cloud cover but the sun is shining though, there is no wind and its quite nice and warm, not too hot at the moment, but it might get a lot hotter later. But at the moment you could run and play and jump and chase all that you wanted to my boy and have some really good fun. In some ways Molly is very much like you my boy, if she's outside, I'm inside and the front door is open she will poke her head around the door to see where I am and sometimes barks for me to come outside. As soon as I go outside she follows me everywhere, when I try and water my runner beans and potatoes she jumps at the water spray and then get soaking wet, then she rolls around on the ground getting dry. She really is a gift from you my boy, she is really a sweet little girl and he puts up with Mia my Granddaughter climbing over her. She reminds me of when you were so patient with your puppies, you knew they were babies and you took a lot of interest in them, it was so sweet to watch you.

I'm almost over my illness, not quite there yet, but getting close. What annoyed me, I enjoy my food, I was hungry yet I didn't want to eat I'd pick at my dinner and leave most of it. Yesterday was the first time I ate a whole meal and actually enjoyed it. Yesterday afternoon I wanted some French fries so I peeled some potatoes and fried them, added some tomato sauce and salt, it was really nice.

I guess its time for you to go play and have some fun with your buddies Merlin.

I love you my boy so much and I miss you.

Your ever loving Daddy.
