Good morning my sweet and wonderful big boy, how are you today?

Hobo was collected from the hospital last night, he looks in a real poor sorry state, his ear has been stitched up along with the hole bitten through in his mouth, on top of that his head has been shaved so they could carry out the operations and he has to wear a cone. He hasn't got the width sorted out yet, the cone keeps getting caught up on furniture and he yelps. Poor little fella. But that is not the end of the story, Bella came in yesterday afternoon, she too had been fighting with those dogs next door, she had a cut on her leg and on her face. Thankfully nothing serious. The man next door said that she had bitten his two dogs which he and I cannot understand as Bella was wearing a muzzle. Both of us are at a loss on how to prevent them fighting, the only idea I can come up with is closer linked chain link fencing. Mike my son mentioned chicken wire, but that is very thin and I have no doubt the dogs would get through it somehow, I think closer link chain link would be the better option. For the moment, until they heal neither Bella or Hobo can wear a muzzle, so I can't just let them out, I have to keep an eye on both of them to make sure they don't go near the fence. I really don't know why the dogs hate each other so much. I remember you wasn't a fan of Hobo when he came to live with us, it was only after he was neutered that you put up with him. Thankfully Molly and Spud keep away from that fence line, at least that's a plus.

I guess its time you went and had some fun with your buddies and have some fun and games. I'm sorry for the bad news my boy.

I love you so much Merlin

Your ever loving Daddy
