Good morning Merlin my amazing handsome boy.

Its quite nice today Merlin, the sun is shining, there are no clouds in the sky, no wind and no rain and fairly crisp but not too cold. I know you would be running around like a mad thing having so much fun.

Remember how you use to wake me up in the mornings? One method was you would stick your nose on the end of mine, I'd open my eyes and the first thing I saw was a big black nose, then when my eyes focused I'd see your eyes looking at me and you waiting for me to wake up. Another method you used was to put your head under the bed clothes and lick my feet, that always made me jump. Molly jumps on the bed then sticks her wet tongue in my ear!!!! That is so gross!!!! Spud wakes me up by licking my nose, yuck!!!! I far preferred your method of waking me up, it wasn't as shocking as Molly's or Spud's, except for the time when you thought "My Daddy has had enough sleep," and jumped on my stomach, all 100 pounds of you!!!! You knocked the wind out of me and I thought the house had fallen in on me. Then when you wanted a cuddle while I was watching TV, you sat in front of the TV and wouldn't move until I called you over for a cuddle. Melissa always said I spoiled you, so what, you're MY boy.

Time to go and have some fun Merlin with your buddies.

I'll never stop loving you Merlin.

Your ever loving Daddy.

Turner would sit with his face in mine and lick once. Not me, just lick. Then I would raise the blanket and he would curl under and spoon! Grunt on the other hand jumps on the bed at 7 am. I miss my spooner! Congratulations on Diary of the Day!

Thank you Turner. Merlin was such a cuddly boy he craved constant attention, which I was so happy to give him. Right from when he came home with us, he and I bonded so strongly that we were inseparable.

I miss my big boy too.

Thank you again for the congratulations.
