First of all, many thanks for all the support we have recieved from so many of our Dogster pals. It means so much. Wesley came through surgery well and has actually been able to stand up in his cage which is a very good sign. He is still on pain medications and IV fluids and has eaten for the first time this morning. If all goes well, I hope to bring him home on Tuesday or Wednesday. It will take a few months for him to get back to normal, and hopefully he will be pain free. Thank you again for all your support.

I'm glad you are feeling a bit better, Wesley, but be sure to soak up as much love and attention as you can. And beware those cheese wads that suddenly make a dog feel dazed and sleepy.

Its a step by step day by day... but so many have recovered totally that I KNOW with your love and care that Wes will too..
