Arrival Story:
Echo joined our family Easter 2003 at the age of 8 weeks. She was already 16lbs and full of beans. We named her Echo becuse she was the 5th litter and hence the 5th letter of the alphabet. We really appreciated all the work our breeder put into giving us a happy , well socialized family oriented Berner Girl!

Bio:
It was determined at just shy of 1yr old that Echo has had mild dysplasia in both her hips. Since there was no arthiritis we opted for bilateral TPO surgery. She was operated in January 2004 and 6 months later is doing great and building up her endurance and strength. She's still full of beans and mischief and is the sweetest girl we know. Update: In Sept 2004 she had to have 10cm of intestine removed after eating a corn cob and causing a blockage. She pulled through fine and is getting better at not eating EVERYTHING she comes across.
