I had gone to the local pound to look for a cat, it was May 2006 and Bella was 7 mos. old. My Persian Julia had died at age 16. I didn't find said cat. Instead I fell in love with this little black dog with the big ears and the big heart. This little dog was in a cage at the shelter with several other larger dogs. I saw her sitting up wanting me to notice her. I asked the attendant, "what is that". He said, "it is a Chihuahua". At my Vet visit he said she was half Schiperke as well. I named her Bella Logosi, my little bat girl. Bella is sucha a happy dog and it showed even at the Humane Society Shelter. I took her home that day. My Japanese Chin Kewpie and Showshoe cat Wally accepted her and love her. Bella couldn't be happier, nor could I. She gives as much love as she gets. She sleeps undercover, or on Wally most nights. Adopting this sweet little girl was high on my list of the best things I have ever done.
