Best Tricks:
Walking upright on my hind legs.

Arrival Story:
Rescued from the Avon Park Bombing Range. A biologist found me roaming in the military bombing range 20 lbs under weight and almost dead.

When I first came home, I didn't know how to eat from a food bowl, walk through door ways, walk by trash cans while going for walks (I'm still nervous of our trash can), and walk on lanolium floors. I've come a long ways with just a little training and TLC.

Bonz vs. Owl

Today we went to the park at dusk when we saw a Great Horned Owl on the ground. Well, I decided to go after the owl. That was a bad idea! A few moments later the owl decided it wanted to get me back and swooped down on me and missed. A few minutes later, the owl went for me again, but this time I wasn't so lucky. He was able to grab by back. No worries though, I didn't get hurt. Who ever thought owls had guts to attack something 2x larger than it. I guess I need to be more careful about what I chase after.

Mom and dad took us to the lake today. As Mya and my parents were walking into the woods, I decided to pursue a flock of Coots on the lake. I approached them with stealth and then made my move. I'm a good swimmer, so I thought I would be able to catch them, but they kept on swimmng farther and farther away from me. By the time my family came out of the woods, I was a few meters out into the lake. I finally gave up and turned around. I thought I was going to have to swim to the other side of the lake, but knew I would tire out since it's so large. My parents seemed nervous and stressed, even though I thought they would be proud of me if I would be able to catch at least one bird. Oh well, I tried.
