Arrival Story:
When I bought my home, the previous owner left Abby. They had several other animals that they liked better & they took them. The previous owner had gotten Abby from the animal shelter,and she had made comments to the neighbors that Abby was uncontrollable. Nothing was further from the truth, Abby knows full obediance commands and is very sweet. She was starved for attention and had discovered that any attention was better than none. I believe she had been started as a hunting dog and turned out to be gun-shy, thus ending up in the shelter. If her former owner had only taken the time, she would have found out what a wonderful dog she had. But fortunately for Abby, she lives with me know in her forever home, where she is spoiled rotten!

Feeling better

I've been taking my antibiotics & steroids since Saturday morning and I have to admit that I'm starting to feel better. Mom has to keep a watch on my nose and if it hasn't completely cleared up by the end of this week, I will have to take a second week of antibiotics. Yup, mom can tell a difference in me between Friday and today. I'm snoring again and have more energy. I guess not being able to breathe good takes some of the ooomph out of a girl.

I want to send thanks to my pals for the rosettes and well wishes! They are very much appreciated and add a little dash of color to this ol' girl's page :)

Today is the day that mom decided to make my Gotcha/Birthday Day. She doesn't know when I was really born since I came with the house she bought.

Today is sort of been up and down. I had to go to vet this morning. Seems like my nose might be acting up again. So now I have a new round of antibiotics to take. So to help make it up to me, mom took me to the feed store. I got a new bag of tasty pill pockets for my medicine and a yummy pig ear!

I thought I would give everyone a quick update on my nose. So far NO PROBLEMS!! It has stayed clear and I've been able to breathe without any trouble. In fact I'm breathing so well, that I'm back to "sawing logs" when I sleep. :)
