My mom is having a PUPPY BABY SHOWER for me, can you believe it?!
I can't wait. It's on Jan. 27th at our friend Val's house. I like Val, she's cool. I met her when I was only two weeks old, but I remember her more from the times I met her after that when I could see her! I think the day she met me, I still was just learning to open my eyes. :)
My mom actually registered me at Target for gifts! Isn't she crazy?! I can't wait to see what I get, altho' just seeing lots of new friends and relatives is enuff of a gift for me. I'm sure mom will have some yummy treats made too.
Will update you all soon on the party, I can't wait, it's my first one ever, and mom's first baby shower. Val insisted on us having one. She's a great friend!
She adopted a foster iggy from my mom, that's how they met. Turns out she only lives five minutes from our house too, how cool is that? I love friends!

Things I learned to do in the past week:
Go up and down the basement stairs (mom doesn't like that much!)
Jump up in the air and have my paws actually leave the ground, and when I land, I don't fall down!
Still working on "sit" ...it's hard when all the other dogs are jumping around like kooks. Why should I sit if they don't have to?! No fair!
I can sit totally still while mom trims my nails, cleans my ears, and cleans up those silly little hairs I get on my face. I'm almost totally bald, but if mom doesn't clean up my face, she says I look like a fuzzy little old man. What?!
I learned there's this Holiday thing...all I know is that mom is kind of stressed out, and she hasn't been around as much, so overall I don't know if I like it. Btw, what's a present? I guess I'll find out. As long as hats aren't involved, it might be ok.

I love my family...I don't really remember it too much, but I first met my mom when I was only a week old. My "doggie" mom, Paris, and all of us pups stayed at her house for a couple weeks back in September while our breeder was away up north. It was neat, the first person I saw when I opened my eyes was my "person" mom. She said "Welcome to the world, I'm your mommie!" She kissed and held me a lot. I like that! I'm a cuddle bug.
When I was just over 8 weeks old, I came to live with her and all her doggie "kids". It's neat because I have all these international doggie siblings...Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute/Sibe mix, and lots and lots of Italians! (greyhounds that is!) I also have a Chinese Crested 1/2 sister, Aurora. She's deaf. I likfe that because I can bark in her face and she doesn't mind. She lives here most of the time, but also spends time at our breeder's house too. (Aurora is lucky, she has two mommies and families who adore her) The other doggies here are really nice to me. I bother them a little bit when I get what mom calls the "puppy crazies", also known as the zoomies. Luckily that doesn't happen too much. I prefer to sleep and snuggle with everyone and esp. to lay down by the heating vent in the wall...mmmm...warm!
More later...the heater is on now, I have to run and get a good spot!
