My daughter has rabbits and then there were babies. The mother, Daisy, did not take care of the babies so we had to step up to the plate.
Crash was very curious to what this small little rat looking thing was. Well, while caring for them one day, I held a baby down to Crash, and to my surprise, he was very gentle. Crash gave a gentle kiss (lick) and whined a lot.
He was right by our side every time we held Daisy while the babies nursed. He always watched everything that went on. Whined a lot, and wanted to smell them. I think that he considered himself a parent to those babies. Even to this day he will check them out out in their hutches.
He is a good boy.

Crash is the biggest lover in the family. He is always happy to see you.
There was this time when I just walked him and as soon as I took the leash off him he bolted to the wing back chair that I liked to sit in.
The expression on his face was, "Ha, I got here before you did. Nah!!
He meant he was getting that chair before me. So the pet trained that I am, he won. LOL.
Crash has this wicked curl in his tail. I feel it is from the Chow line in him. However, he is very loving, like the Black Lab that he also has.
Crash likes to lay in the bed with me, and it does seem like another human laying there with me.
Oh, please do not blow in his face. I am not sure why, but he absolutly hates it. But roll the window down in the Freestyle and he will have that head out the window.
Let's don't forget the doorbell. That is another no no. He goes crazy. And there goes the other 2 along with him.
When Hunter came along, he treated Hunter like a baby and very good. But once Hunter got older, there was a clash. Showing of whos the boss.
Momma was the one who settle that.
Now there is Beretta, the bitch. Hunter does not like her, but Crash does.
They play and play for hours on end. But every now and then they will stop for Crash to clean her ears.
Like boy friend and girl friend.
