 Quick Bio:
| -purebred | -blind | -dog rescue | |
 Birthday: September 7th 2000
Likes: Going out anywhere, anytime! Canoe rides are also a big hit (way better than actually swimming around the lake!), and hugs, kisses, belly rubs, her new Mummy, food, and laying around snoring like a tractor.

Pet-Peeves: Marin doesn't like us going anywhere without her and can be pretty insistent on going with us.

Favorite Food: Marin goes to great lengths to steal beer, Rice Krispie Squares or granola cereal at every opportunity she gets!

Favorite Walk: Anywhere......Marin loves to go out. She's game for anything, but really enjoys a good run through the woods!

Best Tricks: Marin waves hello!

Arrival Story: We adopted Marin from the Newf Rescue of Canada, the same organization we adopted our sweet Maggie from. Marin was bred by the same breeder as our precious Newf Wicca. Marin ended up in rescue after her first family (who called her Mini) found that they were not able to provide a suitable home for her. We feel privileged to give a loving home to this gentle, sweet girl.

Bio: Marin arrived at our home on June 19, extremely overweight, with bilateral ear infections, partial vision loss, hot spots, allergies, hip dysplasia, and mats over much of her body. She will require a lot of love and care to help her become healthy again. Despite her poor physical health, Marin is a very happy, social, and loving girl who thrives on affection. She fits right into our family and acts like she's lived here her entire life.
Update August 23 - Marin has lost about 10 lbs in the last 2 months, and has another 15 lbs to drop to be in good shape. She looks like a different dog now and is thriving in her new home......she's a real sweetheart!
UPDATE June 19, 2005 - Happy 1st GOTCHA' DAY! Marin has been with us for a year now and looks better than ever. Her health has improved greatly, she is in excellent shape, no longer requires pain killers for her hips, has started doing draft work and is one happy, happy girl. What a difference a year makes!
UPDATE--March 2006--Marin continues to do well, although her cataracts have progressed to the point where she now has very little vision at all. She has adjusted very well and isn't going to let something like a little vision loss get her down!
March 29, 2012: Our beautiful bear left us due to a heart condition. She led a marvelous life, and leaves a hole in our hearts.
