I'm finally three years old! My birthday held lots of surprises and I loved them all! The morning began when I woke up with a blanket wrapped around me. It was cold but I felt nice, warm and cozy. Mom and Francis took me downstairs for present opening and a special breakfast. I got lots of cool stuff and had a while to play with it before I went to dog school while Francis stayed home and Mom went to work. Everyone was patting me and saying how pretty I was, wishing me a happy birthday and sneaking me dog treats while their dogs weren't looking. When Mom came to pick me up, everyone crowded around for one more pat (well, for the dogs one more sniff) and I jumped into the car feeling like the Princess I once was. We went home to find an email from my cousin in Australia. It had a link to the forums here and when we went on to see, boy was I surprised! Rufus had thrown me a surprise party and my pals were there to cheer me on! Thanks, Rufus! I had a great time! I also got an email from Dogster wishing me a happy birthday with a present of a five-paw rating (even though it shows a four-paw on my page) and 25 bones, as well as a spot in the Birthday Stroll! Finally, the very best part of all. It's the best news I have ever recieved other than the words, "You have been adopted." But that was ages ago at the Newf Rescue Centre. Aunty brought King Marvin over and he had two packages in his mouth. I opened the first one to find a new pink ball and some cookies. I nibbled a cookie before carefully unwrapped the second one. A piece of paper? What? He told me to read it and I looked down. It was a contract to-to-I am so happy I can barely speak- to be ranked as Princess again! I stole a pen from the table and signed it as fast as I could, before leaping into the air with a bark of joy. I was a PRINCESS again! Hooraaaaay! It has been a happy birthday! I love my life!
Hooray! My woofday is in two days! February 5th marks the third year since God created me and sent me to Earth. We'll have a party and I'll have a great time! I still can't believe this is the last time I'll be 2 ever. Okay, that sounds weird, but it's true! I can't come on here to celebrate since it's my cousin's first day of school, but I don't mind- I'll have an offline celebration at home with my family and friends. So when you come on my page on February 5, listen for birthday music. Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me...*walks off humming Happy Birthday to You*
I am officially servant girl of the castle. Well, not right now anyway. Marv and Frank (he hates me calling him that) are on honeymoon and when Mum's at work, I rock the place! And I thank my cousin for making that cool music on my page- I enjoy booting up the computer and turning it on, then going 'round the neighborhood and inviting friends over to party! Then, I'll minimize it and come here, chat with Hendrix, take a swim at Puppy Love! Holiday Getaway and have a fun time. But then I check my watch, race through cyberspace, get my friends home, turn off the computer, jump on the couch and pretend to be asleep as my mum comes in, not suspecting a thing. One time, I went to the airport and told the people at Puppy Love Airlines that my husband was waiting at Honeymoon Island. It's private for whoever's visiting, they said. I knew who was visiting- Tan and Marv, Miwi and Frank, Roan and Socks, Bub and Midge, Zacko and Cleo. I used a lot of nicknames in that last sentence. But I begged, saying, "We have to meet there- it's urgent!" You know what I mean. So they got me on the plane and flew me to Honeymoon Island. It's beautiful. I snuck in and found the dogs at a ball, dancing. The boys were wearing expensive suits, that made me upset. But the girls- they were wearing the best dresses I had ever seen. Sleeveless and in great colors. I stood and watched from the shadows. I look just like one. Marvin twirled Tanya around and she lost balance on those nice high heels. She fell on my paw and thought it was a mouse! Then I came out and told them my cunning plan, and guess what they did, Diary? They pushed me into the plane and told the pilot I didn't belong here! So the pilot chucked a spazz and flew me home. Hmm... Mum should be coming home in about ten minutes. I better finish so I can hide it. I changed your title to 'Diary of a Castle's Servant' with a heavy heart. Now it's true. I'm servant, and I get two months of freedom before they come home and the trouble begins. I think Zack's still gonna hurt me when he gets back. Well, his mum Tanya says he should behave princely and be kind to me, bless her soul, but he's gonna still give me 1oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo chores to do a day. It's gonna be a hard life. :-( But I'm still Mum's Princess. :-) But Zack will not be good to me. :-( But Mum will protect me from his grasp. :-) Okay, enough emoticons. Oh no! Mum's coming up the drive! Gotta hide you now. See you soon!
