The Trip has begun

Well, at first my sister, Frieda, and me were a little worried because it seemed like Dad and Mom packed the entire house into the back of my truck! Were they going somewhere without us? But then, they started packing our stuff too. We all loaded into the truck on Wednesday morning from Florida and headed West.

Dad stopped the truck at least once in every state so we could smell all the new smells and so I could "leave my mark" there. My sister was a brat most of the way trying to hog the back seat for herself.

We finally arrived yesterday and I got to play in the snow in the backyard. Frieda found a dead frozen bird. I knew she was going to get in trouble and sure enough Mom made her drop it. Well, it is snowing now and I am going to take a nap with my Dad.
